Much like the split view feature, watching a video while you are taking notes is much easier than switching between two apps on the iPad waiting for each app to load after every transition. This allows students to watch a video or lecture while taking notes. Apple’s new picture in picture feature can now be utilized in notability as well. ![]() This new feature will allow for a more easier, faster way to take electronic notes in contrast to switching back and forth between the reference and notability. This means that students and teachers can now take notes on notability while a reference site or even an etext is running on the other side of the iPad. ![]() The new split view feature allows for a quick back and forth notetaking as iOS 9 can now run two apps at once. Notability: With the new multitasking updates to Notability, users can now utilize both of Apple’s new multitasking features in notability: Split view, and Picture in Picture.
